How often should I be seen for routine dental care?
Most patients should plan for dental visits twice a year. Early detection helps keep treatment simpler and more affordable, with customized schedules.
Brushing at least two times per day is recommended by the ADA, along with a 30-minute wait after acidic consumption.
With proper technique, both types are effective, but studies often show electric toothbrushes offer better plaque removal. Sonicare and Oral-B support more consistent brushing.
We encourage scheduling a child’s first dental visit by age 3, or once they can comfortably sit for an exam.
Bad breath is commonly linked to plaque, gum issues, or bacteria. Helpful remedies include professional cleanings, brushing the tongue, flossing with mouthwash, and reducing spicy foods. If symptoms persist, a dental evaluation is recommended.
