Strength, Protection, and Beauty

Crowns are made-to-fit caps that restore and protect damaged teeth while matching your smile’s appearance. They’re commonly used for teeth affected by decay, significant fillings, fractures, or root canal therapy. Designed for durability, comfort, and aesthetics, crowns restore everyday function.

With good care, they can last many years.

Dental Crowns

What to expect during your crown treatment?

We start by numbing the tooth and gently reshaping it to prepare for the crown. An impression or digital scan is taken to create your custom restoration. A temporary crown is placed while your permanent crown is crafted in the lab. At your next visit, we secure the permanent crown and make final adjustments for a perfect fit.

Why dental crowns matter?

Crowns protect weakened teeth from breaking, restore chewing ability, and improve the appearance of damaged or misshapen teeth. They’re one of the most versatile restorations in dentistry—offering both functional and cosmetic benefits.

How long do dental crowns last?

Most crowns last 10–15 years or more with proper care. Avoiding habits like chewing ice or biting hard objects can help them last even longer.

Call us if you notice:

  • Large filling or fractured tooth
  • Cracked or worn-down tooth
  • Severe tooth decay
  • Tooth that has had a root canal
  • Desire to improve the appearance of a tooth

Techology that improves your exam

We use high-quality materials such as porcelain, zirconia, or porcelain-fused-to-metal, along with digital scanning for precise fit and natural-looking results.

FAQ

Need More Information? You’re in the Right Place

Can a dental crown be color-matched to my teeth?
Yes. The restoration is crafted to blend in with your existing teeth.
The typical crown process includes two appointments: preparation followed by placement, although same-day crowns can be an option.
No. We use numbing medication and gentle care to keep you relaxed.
Whether a tooth can have a crown depends largely on damage and oral health.
Brushing, flossing, and routine appointments help crowns last, just as they do for natural teeth.
